Weekly meals for elderly neighbors in Tema
Prince runs a volunteer pantry feeding 209 families; this fund restocks shelves for the summer.

Since 2022, our volunteer team has run Bread & Beans Kitchen every Saturday from the back of a borrowed garage. We started with 10 families, and now we feed 209 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 44% this summer, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 16 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Tema market and keep every receipt.
Each $5 feeds a family of four for a week.
All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs.
Where the $450 goes:
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $200
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $140
• Baby formula and diapers: $40
• Refrigeration and electricity: $70
