Weekly meals for elderly neighbors in Naples
The Community Pantry pantry in Naples is running low just as demand rises; $1,600 will stock it for 8 weeks.

Since 2019, our volunteer team has run Community Pantry every Wednesday from the back of the old library basement. We started with 13 families, and now we feed 155 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 54% this summer, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 12 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Naples market and keep every receipt.
Each $40 feeds a family of four for a week.
All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs.
Where the $1,600 goes:
• Refrigeration and electricity: $230
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $890
• Baby formula and diapers: $480
