Weekly meals for elderly neighbors in Likoni
Help keep a free food pantry open for elderly neighbors in Likoni.

Since 2022, our volunteer team has run Community Pantry every Saturday from the back of the parish hall. We started with 9 families, and now we feed 310 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 49% this summer, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 11 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Likoni market and keep every receipt.
Each $5 feeds a family of four for a week.
All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs.
Where the $450 goes:
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $150
• Refrigeration and electricity: $45
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $255
I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.
Updates from Lilian
Update from Likoni: we've started the first stage. We're at 76% of the goal. Thank you for believing in us.
Thank you all. We're at 38% now ($170). I'm honestly stunned. I made the first payment toward rice, beans, flour and oil.

You're not alone. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Greetings from Yekaterinburg!
Thinking of you. Looking forward to the next update. We're a small family in Surakarta but we're thinking of you. Thinking of Likoni.
