Since 2020, our volunteer team has run the Harvest Pantry every Thursday from the back of a community center. We started with 16 families, and now we feed 367 each week. Donations have dropped by about 50% this rainy season, while the line has grown every single week. We rely on volunteers - 17 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Gdańsk market and keep every receipt. Each $20 feeds a family of four for a week. All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs. Where the $1,000 goes: • Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $510 • Baby formula and diapers: $145 • Fresh vegetables and fruit: $345 If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.

  • Sending strength, Emilia. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. Love from Madrid
