Since 2023, our volunteer team has run Community Pantry every Friday from the back of a school canteen. We started with 22 families, and now we feed 331 each week. Donations have dropped by about 43% this rainy season, while the line has grown every single week. We rely on volunteers - 13 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Bordeaux market and keep every receipt. Each $30 feeds a family of four for a week. All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs. Where the $1,500 goes: • Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $750 • Refrigeration and electricity: $340 • Baby formula and diapers: $410 Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

          • Thinking of you and your family. Great idea, hope you get there. My neighbor in Hubballi donated after I showed her your page. God bless.

            • Keep going. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. God bless!

hang in there, Manon. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it.
