Since 2021, our volunteer team has run Community Pantry every Friday from the back of a school canteen. We started with 21 families, and now we feed 191 each week. Donations have dropped by about 37% this rainy season, while the line has grown every single week. We rely on volunteers - 7 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Birmingham market and keep every receipt. Each $25 feeds a family of four for a week. I'll post the weekly shopping receipts and a photo of the shelves each Sunday. Where the $2,650 goes: • Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $1,400 • Fresh vegetables and fruit: $640 • Baby formula and diapers: $380 • Refrigeration and electricity: $230 Every share and every dollar helps.

              • So sorry you're going through this, Carter. Projects like this are what make a place worth living in. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. God bless.

                • Shared this with my family. After 12 years in nursing I know how hard it is to ask for anything
