Weekly meals for elderly neighbors in Ann Arbor
Help keep a free food pantry open for elderly neighbors in Ann Arbor.

Since 2020, our volunteer team has run Neighbors' Pantry every Tuesday from the back of a school canteen. We started with 23 families, and now we feed 365 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 32% this school holidays, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 6 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Ann Arbor market and keep every receipt.
Each $40 feeds a family of four for a week.
All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs.
Where the $1,900 goes:
• Refrigeration and electricity: $180
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $1,500
• Baby formula and diapers: $220
Thanks for reading all this.
