Website help for a youth club: The Maple Youth Club

The Maple Youth Club runs on volunteers and has no website; a designer or developer could help us reach more people.

The Maple Youth Club is a small youth club in Shreveport that serves about 465 people each year. We've been running on word of mouth and social media, and we need a simple website with information, volunteer sign-up and a donate button. We have the content, logo and photos ready. We need someone who can design and build it, and show our volunteer how to update it. We'd estimate 15-25 hours of work. Ideally it should be fast on mobile, accessible, and use inexpensive hosting. We have a domain already. Please reply with a link to similar work. We can't pay, but we can offer a reference, a public thank-you, and a lot of thanks. Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

  • Rooting for you. Hope you get there. My mother had a similar thing happen so this one hit home.

It takes guts to ask. Well done. After 26 years in farming I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Take care.

      • More neighborhoods should do this. We're a small family in Rochester but we're thinking of you.

        • Projects like this are what make a place worth living in. I'll check back for the next update. Greetings from Calamba.
