We lost everything in the storm: help the Greenfield settlement start over
After the storm, families in the Greenfield settlement need clean water, roofing materials and bedding.

The storm hit the Greenfield settlement on 7 September. My home was one of 53 damaged, and 6 families are still in temporary shelter at the sports club.
The first few days we shared what little we had. Now the cleanup has started, but we've no money for materials and winter or the rainy season is coming.
Schools in the area have been closed, and the clinic lost its cold storage for vaccines. We're a small community of working families who have never asked for help before.
We have formed a volunteer committee, and I'm the treasurer, so I'll post receipts for everything we buy.
Funds go to building materials, water purification supplies, bedding, and food for families still in shelters.
Where the $5,550 goes:
• Roofing sheets and timber: $1,550
• Clean water and purification supplies: $840
• Bedding, blankets and mattresses: $1,050
• Food parcels for displaced families: $1,000
• Tools and labor for repairs: $1,110

What exactly is the $5,550 for?
Everything on the list is an amount I've been quoted or invoiced. roofing sheets and timber comes first ($1,550) and I'll update the page as each thing gets paid. Good question.
