We lost everything in the landslide: help the Sunrise neighborhood start over
After the landslide, families in the Sunrise neighborhood need clean water, roofing materials and bedding.

The landslide hit the Sunrise neighborhood on 18 July. My home was one of 87 damaged, and 7 families are still in temporary shelter at the community hall.
The first few days we shared what little we had. Now the cleanup has started, but we've no money for materials and winter or the rainy season is coming.
Schools in the area have been closed, and the clinic lost its cold storage for vaccines. We're a small community of working families who have never asked for help before.
We have formed a volunteer committee, and I'm the treasurer, so I'll post receipts for everything we buy.
Funds go to building materials, water purification supplies, bedding, and food for families still in shelters.
Where the $650 goes:
• Roofing sheets and timber: $380
• Food parcels for displaced families: $160
• Tools and labor for repairs: $110
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

It's all in the list in the story. roofing sheets and timber is the big one at $380, I'll post a receipt when it's paid. Appreciate you taking the time.
