We lost everything in the landslide: help the Greenfield settlement start over
After the landslide, families in the Greenfield settlement need clean water, roofing materials and bedding.

The landslide hit the Greenfield settlement on 13 October. My home was one of 26 damaged, and 2 families are still in temporary shelter at a borrowed warehouse.
The first few days we shared what little we had. Now the cleanup has started, but we've no money for materials and winter or the rainy season is coming.
Schools in the area have been closed, and the clinic lost its cold storage for vaccines. We're a small community of working families who have never asked for help before.
We have formed a volunteer committee, and I'm the treasurer, so I'll post receipts for everything we buy.
We buy supplies locally and in bulk, so the money goes further. Receipts and photos will be posted in updates.
Where the $900 goes:
• Roofing sheets and timber: $400
• Clean water and purification supplies: $130
• Bedding, blankets and mattresses: $80
• Food parcels for displaced families: $85
• Tools and labor for repairs: $205
If you're reading this, thank you.

Praying for you, Habtamu. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Love from Allentown.
Thinking of you and your family. Projects like this are what make a place worth living in. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. All the best.
Sending strength. Hope the build day goes well, wish I lived closer. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Blessings.
How is Habtamu doing now?
Praying for you, Habtamu. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. We're a small family in Iztapalapa but we're thinking of you.
