We lost everything in the flood: help the families of Orchard Lane start over
The flood damaged 65 homes in the families of Orchard Lane. We're raising funds for repairs, supplies and temporary shelter.

The flood hit the families of Orchard Lane on 12 August. My home was one of 65 damaged, and 7 families are still in temporary shelter at the sports club.
The first few days we shared what little we had. Now the cleanup has started, but we've no money for materials and winter or the rainy season is coming.
Schools in the area have been closed, and the clinic lost its cold storage for vaccines. We're a small community of working families who have never asked for help before.
We have formed a volunteer committee, and I'm the treasurer, so I'll post receipts for everything we buy.
Funds go to building materials, water purification supplies, bedding, and food for families still in shelters.
Where the $1,100 goes:
• Roofing sheets and timber: $400
• Clean water and purification supplies: $120
• Bedding, blankets and mattresses: $105
• Food parcels for displaced families: $175
• Tools and labor for repairs: $300
Thanks for being kind about this.

So sorry you're going through this, Emmanuel. Shared it with a few friends. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Take care.
is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Emmanuel.
The list at the bottom is the whole picture. roofing sheets and timber is the biggest at $400. Appreciate you taking the time.
Great idea, hope you get there. My neighbor in Tel Aviv donated after I showed her your page. God bless.
So sorry you're going through this. I hope things turn around soon. I'll check back for the next update.
