We lost everything in the fire in the settlement: help Greenfield village start over
After the fire in the settlement, families in Greenfield village need clean water, roofing materials and bedding.

The fire in the settlement hit Greenfield village on 17 September. My home was one of 49 damaged, and 6 families are still in temporary shelter at a mosque and church hall.
The first few days we shared what little we had. Now the cleanup has started, but we've no money for materials and winter or the rainy season is coming.
Schools in the area have been closed, and the clinic lost its cold storage for vaccines. We're a small community of working families who have never asked for help before.
We have formed a volunteer committee, and I'm the treasurer, so I'll post receipts for everything we buy.
Funds go to building materials, water purification supplies, bedding, and food for families still in shelters.
Where the $1,300 goes:
• Roofing sheets and timber: $640
• Clean water and purification supplies: $120
• Bedding, blankets and mattresses: $270
• Tools and labor for repairs: $270
Glad we found this place.
Updates from Kevin
Quick update: $90 raised so far (7%). I made the first payment toward clean water and purification supplies. Receipts coming as soon as I have them.
Thank you all. We're at 15% now ($195). I'm honestly stunned. we've started the first stage.
