We lost everything in the earthquake: help the Millbrook settlement start over
After the earthquake, families in the Millbrook settlement need clean water, roofing materials and bedding.

The earthquake hit the Millbrook settlement on 31 August. My home was one of 38 damaged, and 9 families are still in temporary shelter at a mosque and church hall.
The first few days we shared what little we had. Now the cleanup has started, but we've no money for materials and winter or the rainy season is coming.
Schools in the area have been closed, and the clinic lost its cold storage for vaccines. We're a small community of working families who have never asked for help before.
We have formed a volunteer committee, and I'm the treasurer, so I'll post receipts for everything we buy.
Funds go to building materials, water purification supplies, bedding, and food for families still in shelters.
Where the $1,250 goes:
• Roofing sheets and timber: $680
• Food parcels for displaced families: $270
• Clean water and purification supplies: $220
• Bedding, blankets and mattresses: $80
Thanks for being kind about this.

is there anything that isn't money that would help Rodel?
Thank you. If you're in Taguig I'll say if something practical comes up. For now sharing this is great. Fair thing to want to know.
Wishing you peace. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too
hang in there. Hope you get there. Sent it to 28 people at work.
wishing you the best, Rodel. Shared this with my family. It's not much but it's yours.
