We lost everything in the cyclone: help the families of Millbrook Lane start over
After the cyclone, families in the families of Millbrook Lane need clean water, roofing materials and bedding.

The cyclone hit the families of Millbrook Lane on 6 August. My home was one of 32 damaged, and 11 families are still in temporary shelter at the community hall.
The first few days we shared what little we had. Now the cleanup has started, but we've no money for materials and winter or the rainy season is coming.
Schools in the area have been closed, and the clinic lost its cold storage for vaccines. We're a small community of working families who have never asked for help before.
We have formed a volunteer committee, and I'm the treasurer, so I'll post receipts for everything we buy.
We buy supplies locally and in bulk, so the money goes further. Receipts and photos will be posted in updates.
Where the $800 goes:
• Bedding, blankets and mattresses: $220
• Food parcels for displaced families: $110
• Clean water and purification supplies: $185
• Roofing sheets and timber: $285
Thank you so much.
Updates from Vikas
Thank you all. We're at 4% now ($30). I'm honestly stunned. the plan for bedding, blankets and mattresses is now scheduled.
Good news. Because of your gifts ($20 in total) I met with the suppliers and confirmed the amounts. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.
Wanted to say thank you properly. 4% funded and I made the first payment toward bedding, blankets and mattresses.
