We lost everything in the building collapse: help the Millbrook settlement start over
Neighbors in the Millbrook settlement are rebuilding after the building collapse; every contribution goes to materials and supplies.

The building collapse hit the Millbrook settlement on 24 August. My home was one of 58 damaged, and 2 families are still in temporary shelter at a mosque and church hall.
The first few days we shared what little we had. Now the cleanup has started, but we've no money for materials and winter or the rainy season is coming.
Schools in the area have been closed, and the clinic lost its cold storage for vaccines. We're a small community of working families who have never asked for help before.
We have formed a volunteer committee, and I'm the treasurer, so I'll post receipts for everything we buy.
Funds go to building materials, water purification supplies, bedding, and food for families still in shelters.
Where the $600 goes:
• Roofing sheets and timber: $350
• Tools and labor for repairs: $165
• Bedding, blankets and mattresses: $85
With deep gratitude,
Hamza

You're not alone, Hamza. Looking forward to the next update. God bless.
Rooting for you. More neighborhoods should do this. I'll check back for the next update!
