Water shut-off notice: help Weston pay $900

Help Weston cover an overdue water bill so the household stays safe this summer.

The water account is 2 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on September unless I pay $900. I have never been late before an unexpected car repair. I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $100 first, which I don't have. I live with an elderly mother, and going through summer without water isn't safe. We would also lose the ability to run the medical equipment at home. I'm working on getting back on my feet, and will pay forward whatever help I can once I'm steady. Every dollar goes to the account in Weston's name; a copy of the paid bill will be shared in the updates. Where the $900 goes: • Heating arrears: $580 • Reconnection and late fees: $140 • Down payment on a payment plan: $180 Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

Updates from Weston

  1. We're at 15% thanks to 5 of you. the plan for reconnection and late fees is now scheduled. More news soon. - Weston

  2. Good news. Because of your gifts ($95 in total) I made the first payment toward heating arrears. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.
