Renate is behind on water bills after an unexpected car repair and needs $800 to avoid a shut-off.

The water account is 4 months behind. Renate received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on November unless $800 is paid. She had never been late before an unexpected car repair.
Renate called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $80 first, which isn't available.
The household includes an elderly mother, and going through winter without water isn't safe. We would also lose the ability to run the medical equipment at home.
Renate is working on getting back on her feet, and wants to pay it forward once steady.
Every dollar goes to the account in Renate's name; a copy of the paid bill will be shared in the updates.
