Water shut-off notice: help Rahma pay $500
A disconnection notice for water arrived and Rahma needs $500 before September.

The water account is 3 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on September unless I pay $500. I have never been late before a reduction in hours.
I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $105 first, which I don't have.
I live with an elderly mother, and going through the rainy season without water isn't safe. Without it we can't refrigerate insulin and food, or keep the house at a safe temperature.
I'm working on getting back on my feet, and will pay forward whatever help I can once I'm steady.
Every dollar goes to the account in Rahma's name; a copy of the paid bill will be shared in the updates.

• Down payment on a payment plan: $165
