Water shut-off notice: help Ludwig pay $700
Ludwig is behind on water bills after an unexpected car repair and needs $700 to avoid a shut-off.

The water account is 4 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on March unless I pay $700. I have never been late before an unexpected car repair.
I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $110 first, which I don't have.
I live with an elderly mother, and going through winter without water isn't safe. The children would have no light to study by.
I'm working on getting back on my feet, and will pay forward whatever help I can once I'm steady.
The money will go directly to the utility provider, and I'll post the paid statement here.

• Reconnection and late fees: $70
• Down payment on a payment plan: $250
