Water shut-off notice: help Krishna pay $700
A disconnection notice for water arrived and Krishna needs $700 before October.
🇺🇸 United States484 views
The water account is 2 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on October unless I pay $700. I have never been late before losing my job in June.
I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $120 first, which I don't have.
I live with two young children, and going through the rainy season without water isn't safe. Without it we can't refrigerate insulin and food, or keep the house at a safe temperature.
I'm working on getting back on my feet, and will pay forward whatever help I can once I'm steady.
Every dollar goes to the account in Krishna's name; a copy of the paid bill will be shared in the updates.
Where the $700 goes:
• Electricity arrears: $320
• Reconnection and late fees: $190
• Down payment on a payment plan: $190
