The water account is 2 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on September unless I pay $250. I have never been late before a reduction in hours.
I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $30 first, which I don't have.
I live with an elderly mother, and going through the cold months without water isn't safe. Without it we can't refrigerate insulin and food, or keep the house at a safe temperature.
I'm working on getting back on my feet, and will pay forward whatever help I can once I'm steady.
Every dollar goes to the account in Jamal's name; a copy of the paid bill will be shared in the updates.

Quick update: $82 raised so far (33%). the plan for down payment on a payment plan is now scheduled. Receipts coming as soon as I have them.
Small update. $57 so far, we've booked the dates and paid the deposit.
