The water account is 2 months behind. Duha received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on November unless $100 is paid. She had never been late before losing my job in July.
Duha called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $15 first, which isn't available.
The household includes a newborn, and going through the rainy season without water isn't safe. We can't cook, keep medicine cold or heat the home.
Duha is working on getting back on her feet, and wants to pay it forward once steady.
