Warm clothes needed: Union Women's Shelter families in Flint
Coats, boots, hats and gloves are needed before the first frost.
🇺🇸 Flint, Michigan, United States341 views
I coordinate donations at Union Women's Shelter in Flint. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled.
We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes 4-12. If you're in Flint, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at Union Women's Shelter on Tuesday between 11am and 4pm.
If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate.
Items go to families directly and the rest to the Union Women's Shelter clothing bank, which is open to everyone.
Thank you for reading my story.

sending strength. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. My cousin had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Thinking of Flint
good luck, Pedro. This could happen to any of us. Greetings from Gdańsk
so sorry you're going through this. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. Take care.
You're not alone, Pedro. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Love from Toronto
gave what I could, wish it was more. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. Love from Pune.
So sorry you're going through this, Pedro. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. Greetings from Campinas.
