Warm clothes needed: the Union Community Church families in Accra
A simple way to help: donate warm clothing for kids at the Union Community Church.
🇬🇭 Accra, Greater Accra, Ghana121 views
I coordinate donations at the Union Community Church in Accra. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled.
We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes 2 to 14 years. If you're in Accra, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at the Union Community Church on Thursday between 11am and 2pm.
If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate.
Items go to families directly and the rest to the the Union Community Church clothing bank, which is open to everyone.
Thank you so much.

Sending good thoughts, Kezia. Hope this works out for you. All the best.
Sending strength, Kezia. I hope things turn around soon. I have a 8 year old who wants to send good wishes too.
I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. I'm in teaching myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. Greetings from Addis Ababa.
Wishing you the best, Kezia. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. My husband and I read this together
Best of luck. Your post was clear and honest. Thinking of Accra.
