A fresh start in Parma: help the Nguyen family resettle
After fleeing Ukraine, the Nguyen family has arrived in Parma with little more than their documents. They need help with a deposit, furniture and the first months.

My family left Ukraine 12 months ago after the war reached our town. We spent time in a camp before we were resettled in Parma. We're a family of eight and we're safe, but we arrived with very little.
Our resettlement agency has provided 3 months of rent, and that support ends in February.
I was a shopkeeper in Ukraine, and I'm studying the language every evening. Our daughter and son have started school and are doing well.
We want nothing more than to be self-sufficient. This fund will help us through the first six months.
All purchases will be documented and photos shared (with the family's consent).
Where the $1,250 goes:
• Language classes and bus passes: $460
• Phone and internet for school and job search: $110
• Beds, table and basic furniture: $680
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

This could happen to any of us. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Greetings from Biratnagar
