I coordinate donations at the Sycamore Family Centre in Saket. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled. We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes kids' 3 to 5 and women's S-L. If you're in Saket, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at the Sycamore Family Centre on Sunday between 9am and 4pm. If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate. Items go to families directly and the rest to the the Sycamore Family Centre clothing bank, which is open to everyone. Glad we found this place.

  • thinking of you, Diya. This could happen to any of us. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Blessings

Hope things get better soon, Diya. Your post was clear and honest.

      • Thinking of you, Diya. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend. God bless.

        • Best of luck, Diya. A secure home matters so much. Hope you're settled soon. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. All the best

          • praying for you, Diya. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Greetings from Caloocan.
