I coordinate donations at the Pioneer Mosque in Iztapalapa. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled.
We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes kids' 3 to 5 and women's S-L. If you're in Iztapalapa, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at the Pioneer Mosque on Saturday between 9am and 2pm.
If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate.
Items go to families directly and the rest to the the Pioneer Mosque clothing bank, which is open to everyone.
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

You're not alone, Nuria. Shared it with a few friends. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Thinking of Iztapalapa.
sending strength. Looking forward to the next update. My husband and I read this together. Greetings from Gdynia
So sorry you're going through this. Hope this works out for you. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Greetings from Narayanganj.
Wishing you the best, Nuria. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Don't give up.
Thinking of you and your family, Nuria. A secure home matters so much. Hope you're settled soon. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. God bless.
