I coordinate donations at the Cedar Family Centre in Girona. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled. We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes 4-12. If you're in Girona, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at the Cedar Family Centre on Monday between 9am and 4pm. If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate. Items go to families directly and the rest to the the Cedar Family Centre clothing bank, which is open to everyone. If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.

  • Hope it all works out. It takes guts to ask. Well done. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Love from Katowice.

    • I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. All the best.

          • Wishing you peace, Juan. Rent stress is the worst. Hope this helps. After 21 years in engineering I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Greetings from Tema.
