Zaria
I coordinate donations at the Baobab Family Centre in Zaria. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled. We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes 4-12. If you're in Zaria, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at the Baobab Family Centre on Tuesday between 10am and 2pm. If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate. Items go to families directly and the rest to the the Baobab Family Centre clothing bank, which is open to everyone. I hope life is good to you.

  • Hang in there, Femi. I hope things turn around soon. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Blessings.

    • Keep going, Femi. Shared this with my family. I'll check back for the next update.

      • Wishing you the best, Femi. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better.

        • Best of luck. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Thinking of Zaria.
