Warm clothes needed: the Baobab Community Church families in Xalapa
A simple way to help: donate warm clothing for kids at the Baobab Community Church.
🇲🇽 Xalapa, Veracruz, Mexico177 views
I coordinate donations at the Baobab Community Church in Xalapa. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled.
We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes 2 to 14 years. If you're in Xalapa, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at the Baobab Community Church on Tuesday between 9am and 2pm.
If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate.
Items go to families directly and the rest to the the Baobab Community Church clothing bank, which is open to everyone.
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Wishing you peace, Ignacio. Gave what I could, wish it was more. My cousin had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Take care.
Good luck, Ignacio. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Please keep us posted. Love from Suwon.
Hope it all works out, Ignacio. Hope you get there. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Love from London.
