Jonathan was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in July. The oncology team at the Columbus Oncology Institute has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in October. He will be away from work for about 6 weeks. Jonathan is 48, worked as a bus conductor until July, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Columbus Oncology Institute 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders. I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes. Where the $8,500 goes: • Household costs while unable to work: $1,850 • Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $5,750 • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $900 Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.
