Mukono
I coordinate donations at the Acacia Mosque in Mukono. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled. We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes 2 to 14 years. If you're in Mukono, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at the Acacia Mosque on Monday between 11am and 4pm. If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate. Items go to families directly and the rest to the the Acacia Mosque clothing bank, which is open to everyone. I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

  • Praying for you, Karanja. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better.

Keep going, Karanja. Hope you get there. Please keep us posted. Blessings

      • Hope this works out for you. My neighbor in Bekasi donated after I showed her your page. Greetings from Bekasi.

        • Thinking of you and your family, Karanja. I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust

Good luck, Karanja. Shared it with a few friends. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double
