I coordinate donations at Harmony Women's Shelter in Toronto. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled. We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes kids' 3 to 5 and women's S-L. If you're in Toronto, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at Harmony Women's Shelter on Thursday between 11am and 2pm. If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate. Items go to families directly and the rest to the Harmony Women's Shelter clothing bank, which is open to everyone. Thank you so much.

  • Keep going. Rent stress is the worst. Hope this helps. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend

    • I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Wish I lived closer to Athens so I could bring a meal. Love from Sacramento.

      • Stay strong, Harper. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. My neighbor had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Thinking of Toronto.
