Wanted to borrow: cordless drill and spirit level, Birmingham
Short-term loan wanted: cordless drill and spirit level. I'll collect and return it myself, and happily cover any fuel.

I'm Lucas in Birmingham. I'm building a ramp for my mother's wheelchair, and I need a cordless drill and spirit level for a single afternoon. Buying one for a single job doesn't make sense and the rental price is more than I can manage right now.
If you have one gathering dust in the garage, I'd be grateful to borrow it. I'll collect it from you, look after it, clean it and bring it back on the day we agree. I'll leave a deposit if you'd like, and I'm happy to meet somewhere public the first time.
If you could also show me how to use it safely, that would be an extra kindness.
Thank you. I'll give it back as promised.

I can lend one for a few weeks. I live about 7 km away so you would need to collect it. Flexible on timing.

I can lend mine this weekend. Where would be easy to meet? Just let me know.
