Wafa's spinal decompression surgery can't wait - please help us cover the bill

Wafa was diagnosed with a thyroid nodule that needs removal in July. The surgeon at Giza Regional Medical Center recommended spinal decompression surgery, and She is scheduled for September. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $1,650, and after what the public health scheme will pay we're still $1,000 short.
my sister has been in and out of Giza Regional Medical Center since July. The doctors say a thyroid nodule that needs removal will get worse without spinal decompression surgery. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $1,650 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Wafa struggles with daily life and can't look after the children alone. Her family has taken turns caring for her, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
The recovery period is expected to take about 3 weeks. During that time Wafa won't be able to look after the children alone, so the costs keep growing.

The list at the bottom is the whole picture. surgeon and anesthesia fees is the biggest at $490. Good question.
