Volunteers wanted: Wulan's yard after the storm
Garden rescue day in Jakarta Barat: bring gloves and a rake.
🇮🇩 Jakarta Barat, DKI Jakarta, Indonesia227 views
I'm 80 and I have lived in this house in Jakarta Barat for 39 years. After the storm in July, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of my hip replacement.
The council has told me it will be six weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: two people with loppers and a wheelbarrow. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
