Volunteers wanted: Vlad's yard after the storm
Vlad, 91, can no longer manage the yard after a storm; we are looking for helpers with chainsaws and rakes.

I'm 91 and I have lived in this house in București for 48 years. After the storm in April, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of my hip replacement.
The council has told me it will be twelve weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: someone with a chainsaw, plus a few people with rakes and gloves. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
