Volunteers wanted: Silvia's yard after the storm
Garden rescue day in Barranquilla: bring gloves and a rake.
🇨🇴 Barranquilla, Atlántico, Colombia678 views
I'm 85 and I have lived in this house in Barranquilla for 23 years. After the storm in August, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of a heart condition.
The council has told me it will be twelve weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: two people with loppers and a wheelbarrow. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
I hope life is good to you.

good luck. Looking forward to the next update. My neighbor in Embakasi donated after I showed her your page.
You're not alone. Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Love from Monterrey.
