Volunteers wanted: Samantha's yard after the storm
Garden rescue day in Toronto: bring gloves and a rake.
π¨π¦ Toronto, Ontario, Canada182 views
I'm 82 and I have lived in this house in Toronto for 22 years. After the storm in October, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of poor eyesight.
The council has told me it will be six weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: two people with loppers and a wheelbarrow. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
Glad we found this place.

So sorry you're going through this, Samantha. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. Thinking of Toronto
Wishing you peace, Samantha. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Thinking of Toronto.
