Volunteers wanted: Oğuz's yard after the storm
Garden rescue day in İzmir: bring gloves and a rake.

I'm 85 and I have lived in this house in İzmir for 41 years. After the storm in November, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of poor eyesight.
The council has told me it will be eight weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: a small team to cut, stack and carry away branches. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.
