Volunteers wanted: Nicholas's yard after the storm
Garden rescue day in Detroit: bring gloves and a rake.

I'm 75 and I have lived in this house in Detroit for 31 years. After the storm in September, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of poor eyesight.
The council has told me it will be six weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: two people with loppers and a wheelbarrow. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
Thank you so much.

Thinking of you and your family, Nicholas. Hope this works out for you. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Take care.
Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Put this on a community board in Taguig this morning. Thinking of Detroit.
Sending strength, Nicholas. Shared it with a few friends. Love from Quezon City.
This could happen to any of us. I'm in retail myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. Greetings from Negombo
I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. My neighbor in Taguig donated after I showed her your page. Blessings.
