Volunteers wanted: Liang's yard after the storm
Garden rescue day in Miami: bring gloves and a rake.

I'm 89 and I have lived in this house in Miami for 24 years. After the storm in March, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of my hip replacement.
The council has told me it will be ten weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: a small team to cut, stack and carry away branches. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

Thanks for sharing this. Get well soon. After 9 years in logistics I know how hard it's to ask for anything. God bless
