Volunteers wanted: Jacob's yard after the storm
Garden rescue day in San Antonio: bring gloves and a rake.
🇺🇸 San Antonio, Texas, United States1,024 views
I'm 89 and I have lived in this house in San Antonio for 22 years. After the storm in January, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of my hip replacement.
The council has told me it will be ten weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: someone with a chainsaw, plus a few people with rakes and gloves. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.

So sorry you're going through this, Jacob. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. God bless.
Thinking of you and your family, Jacob. Shared it with a few friends. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. Take care!
Sending good thoughts. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. God bless
hope it all works out, Jacob. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Take care
Take care. Shared it with a few friends. Sent it to 19 people at work. Blessings.
You're not alone, Jacob. Gave what I could, wish it was more. I went through something like this 12 years ago and strangers helped me out. Love from Benin City.
Hang in there, Jacob. Shared it with a few friends. Take care.
