Volunteers wanted: Ishita's yard after the storm
Ishita, 76, can no longer manage the yard after a storm; we're looking for helpers with chainsaws and rakes.

I'm 76 and I have lived in this house in Bengaluru for 43 years. After the storm in November, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of a recent fall.
The council has told me it will be six weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: someone with a chainsaw, plus a few people with rakes and gloves. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Rooting for you. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Wish I lived closer to Zapopan so I could bring a meal.
Hope it all works out, Ishita. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Blessings!
