Volunteers wanted: Henry's yard after the storm
Garden rescue day in Melbourne: bring gloves and a rake.

I'm 71 and I have lived in this house in Melbourne for 43 years. After the storm in October, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of a recent fall.
The council has told me it will be six weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: two people with loppers and a wheelbarrow. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
Thank you so much.

Wishing you the best, Henry. Hope the doctors have good news. All the best.
Thanks for sharing this, Henry. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Love from Dhaka.
You're not alone. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Thinking of Melbourne.
