I'm 77 and I have lived in this house in Limerick for 47 years. After the storm in June, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of arthritis. The council has told me it will be twelve weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner. Help needed: a small team to cut, stack and carry away branches. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do. Glad we found this place.

  • Sending strength, Conor. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Put this on a community board in Joliet this morning.

    • Praying for you. I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. Greetings from Mangaluru.

      • this could happen to any of us. Wish I lived closer to Niterói so I could bring a meal.
