Volunteers wanted: Carlos's yard after the storm
Fallen branches and overgrowth are blocking Carlos's path; a few hours of help would make a big difference.

I'm 82 and I have lived in this house in Monterrey for 22 years. After the storm in August, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of arthritis.
The council has told me it will be twelve weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: a small team to cut, stack and carry away branches. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
Glad we found this place.

praying for you. This could happen to any of us. I'm in nursing myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. Take care
Hope things get better soon, Carlos. Your post was clear and honest. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double.
