Volunteers wanted: Bharath's yard after the storm
Bharath, 79, can no longer manage the yard after a storm; we're looking for helpers with chainsaws and rakes.
🇮🇳 Pune, Maharashtra, India313 views
I'm 79 and I have lived in this house in Pune for 38 years. After the storm in August, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of my hip replacement.
The council has told me it will be eight weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: two people with loppers and a wheelbarrow. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
Glad we found this place.

Keep going, Bharath. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Love from Hồ Chí Minh City
Good luck, Bharath. Get well soon. I went through something like this 7 years ago and strangers helped me out. Take care!
