Volunteers needed to fix a leaking roof for Wilfredo in Calamba
Wilfredo, a disabled veteran, needs a few skilled and unskilled helpers for a 1-weekend roof repair in Calamba.

I'm a disabled veteran living in Calamba. During the last storm water started coming through the ceiling in 3 places, and the kitchen is no longer usable. A roofer quoted $860, which isn't something I can pay.
The good news: a local hardware store has donated the corrugated iron sheets and timber. What I don't have is people to do the work. I'm looking for a small crew who can help over one long weekend.
Experience helps, but it isn't essential - I'll have a licensed roofer supervising for safety. All you need is work boots and a hat. I'll provide lunch, water and lots of thanks.
The work will be done on the ground and roof with proper harnesses. If you can only help for a few hours, that's welcome too.
Thank you for reading my story.

so sorry you're going through this. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. Sent it to 3 people at work. Greetings from Dhaka.
